Art
Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”
Pablo Picasso
At Milford, we believe that it is a fundamental right of all children to be creative. Inspired by a rich art and design curriculum, our artists are provided with opportunities to learn, develop, and apply key skills from drawing and painting to sculpture, collage, textiles, printing, and digital art.
Our budding Picassos are encouraged to explore their own creativity and challenge themselves to produce work of which they are proud as well as critical. They are introduced to artistic works from the past to the present and have high aspirations and expectations for their own achievements and creative futures.
